At the heart of this exhibition are the magnificent wildlife creatures of the Pacific Northwest, including orcas, wolves, bears, turtles, and mountain lions. Through a blend of vibrant colors and dynamic lines, the artists bring to life the power and grace of these creatures and the rugged beauty of their habitats.
The bold lines and vivid colors of the art pay homage to the traditions and stories passed down through generations, while also exploring new perspectives and interpretations.
About iTCHY
Edward Fassio, also known by his creative moniker "iTCHY," is a Pacific Northwest native who draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including nature, personal experiences, music, theology and science. Fassio has a unique way of interpreting art, often considering how objects would look if they were thrown into the water, sunk, dropped in the mud, or left outside in the cold snow and ice. Through this process, he reflects on how life, objects, time and mortality co-exist and how external elements can affect transformation and feelings. Additionally, he is drawn to certain landscapes that convey internal emotions based on seasons of change and elemental factors.
